ABOUT

Hi, I'm Christina!
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My journey began behind the lens as a nature photographer, where I spent countless hours capturing landscapes, wildlife, and the tiny details of the world through macro photography. That work earned recognition in local publications, including the Daily Herald, but more importantly, it taught me to appreciate the beauty found in life's smallest moments.
As my career evolved, I discovered my true passion, photographing people. Today, I specialize in family portraits, engagements, weddings, and special events, creating natural, timeless images that tell your story. Whether it's the excitement of a proposal, the joy of a growing family, or the laughter shared during a session, my goal is to capture genuine moments you'll treasure for generations.
For more than 15 years, I've had the privilege of documenting some of life's biggest milestones. I believe the best photographs aren't just beautiful, they bring you right back to how that moment felt.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me in my classroom. I'm an elementary art teacher with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Art from Northern Illinois University. I'm also completing my Master's in Art Education, which continues to inspire my creativity!
I'm a proud mom to my daughter, Clara, and my son, Calvin, who keep life busy, adventurous, and full of laughter. When we aren't out making memories together, I love traveling, gardening, and finding inspiration in the outdoors.
Thank you for stopping by! I can't wait to get to know you and help tell your story through photographs you'll cherish for years to come.
