Christina began her professional photography career as a nature photographer, capturing landscapes, insects and animals. She developed a love for macro photography, landing many awards and recognitions in local publications such as the Daily Herald.

 

She then developed a new passion once she branched out into portraits and weddings. Christina loves capturing memories that will last beyond a lifetime. She specializes in on location photography for families and special events. Christina has been photographing professionally for over 12 years now!

Alongside Christina's passion for photography, her other passion includes working with children. She's a teacher and currently teaches elementary art. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education as well as a minor in Art. Christina has been working with children for over 12 years as well.

In Christina's spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her 6 year old daughter, Clara, and 3 year old son, Calvin. She also enjoys staying active and gardening in the summer time.
